World's Most Diabolical Cheerleader Mom
![]() |
Raffaela Spone is accused of creating deepfake images of her daughter's cheerleading rivals to get them kicked off the team. She looks kinda mean, doesn't she? |
This one took it so much further than anyone I'm aware of.
"Police arrested a 50-year-old Bucks County woman March 10 for sending her teen daughter's cheerleading coaches fake photos and videos depicting her rivals naked, drinking or smoking to try to get them kicked off the squad, according to media reports."
The evil cheerleading mom, Raffaela Spone, is charged with three counts of cyber harassment of a child and three counts of harassment. Spone is alleged to have sent the manipulated images in an anonymous message and that she "urged them to kill themselves," which, if true, is especially horrible.
The deepfake images were digitally altered images of the girls in question to make realistic-appearing images of the girls with little clothing, drinking, smoking and vaping, all against the cheerleading club rules.
To be clear, none of the girls targeted actually did any of these rule-breaking things.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, a parents of one of the girls who was victimized contacted police in July after the girl and her coaches were sent photos that appeared to show the teenage naked, drinking and smoking a vape.
As noted, this girl did none of those things, and luckily, her parents and coaches believed the teenager and discovered the photos were deepfakes. It looks like Spone mapped the girls' real social media posts onto other images to make them look like they were slutty rule breakers.
Soon after that girl's parents came forward, the parents of two other girls did the same.
I usually don't like to comment on people's looks, buy the mug shot of Spone is something else. Hate to meet her in a dark alley!
To the best of anyone's knowledge, Spone's daughter didn't know what her mother was up to. Imagine the teenage embarrassment she's going through!
I supposed the Evil Cheerleading Mom gets points for her creativity with her alleged scheme, but I hate to see what other stunts she might have tried pulling.
