What's Behind The Mirror? In One Case, A Whole Other Apartment!
This woman in New York found an entire apartment hidden behind her bathroom mirror in a New York City building. When I bought my house 14 years ago, I was a bit mystified because there either isn't an attic or no access to it. There has to be at least a crawlspace above the ceilings, but no way to get there. I've occasionally been tempted to cut a hole in the ceiling, maybe inside a closet, and take a peek, but so far I haven't had the guts. Maybe because there was so many other mysteries here.
