Why Isn't The GOP Mocking Marjorie Taylor Greene

Crazy Marjorie Taylor Greene has inexplicably become a
GOP darling, despite her, um, interesting ideas.
Back on November 8, 2018, some power lines broke and arced in northern California in the middle of a wind storm and severe drought.

The resulting wildfire became a monster and destroyed the town of Paradise, California. The fire killed 75 people, and it was the worse wildfire in California history.

Most people would not want to make the situation worse for the grieving residents of Paradise. Then again, most people are not Marjorie Taylor Greene.

She is my nominee as worst U.S congressperson every. And that's saying something

Greene is one of those QAnon conspiracy theorists. Yes, she's delusional, but the mean streak that's part of this pathology really makes her special.

Her conspiracy nonsense seems designed to make everybody feel worse.

Most people want to help, or at least empathize with the fine citizens of Paradise, California. But not Greene.  She just decided to use the occasion to spout her wackadoodle ideas.

See, according to Greene, it wasn't fallen power lines that sparked that tragic file. Nope! it was lasers from space, controlled by evil people on Earth, that destroyed Paradise.

Greene doesn't say who these awful people were. But they were Jewish! The Jews always do such horrible, clever, evil things!

Antisemitic much, Marjorie?

Apparently, the Rothchilds teamed up with California liberals to torch Paradise to put a high speed railroad through there. Or something. It's really hard to follow Greene's "logic."

Believe it or not, this is one of the most harmless things Greene has said, as people continue to comb through her social media posts to see how crazy crazy can be.

As The Hill summarizes:

"She has supported Facebook posts that called for executing Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and FBI agents, and in a video that resurfaced this week is seen taunting gun control activist David Hogg a year after he survived the 2018 mass shooting at this high school in Parkland, Florida."

And that's just a tiny sliver of Greene's crazy.

I normally ignore ranters and ravers and tin hat types like Greene. Who am I to pick on people with likely mental health issues. I just hope they get help and stay safe.

However, Greene has somehow managed to become a member of Congress. Even worse, Republicans have gone so far off the deep end they are too afraid of the crazies out there that makes up their so-called "base". Worse still, I think too many GOPers actually believe Greene's crazy stuff, or at least find it useful.

Greene needs to be expelled from Congress. Pronto. She is the enemy within. Even as Greene calls Pelosi a traitor, the real traitor is Greene, who is perfectly fine calling for the overthrow of the government and the execution of Pelosi, among others.

It would take a two-thirds vote to oust Greene, which isn't going to happen. Too many Republicans are fan boys and girls of Greene.

We should all be mocking Greene out of office. But nope, not the GOP!

In fact, it appears the GOP is doubling down. They put her on the House Education and Labor Committee. This after she called the murder of young elementary school students at Sandy Hook a false flag, and harassed survivors of the Parkland, Florida school shooting.

It doesn't really feel like Greene's got the education and safety of kids in mind, but what do I know?

I don't know where this ends. The GOP gets crazier and crazier, and their base eats it up like candy. I have no idea why they're so stupid. I saw one interview with a Greene constituent in her Georgia district who supports this crazy Q-Anon cat and her conspiracies.

The constituent explained that Noah was considered a conspiracy theorist when he built the Ark and he was proven right. So maybe Greene's correct?  Yeah, this person actually said it.

Speaking like the faux martyr she thinks she is, Greene said:

"They are coming after me because they know I represent the people, not the politicians. They are coming after me because like President Trump, I will always defend conservative values."

If tall tales about lasers starting wildfires, and Hillary Clinton sexually torturing children in a non-existent pizza parlor basement, represents conservative values, who in their right mind would support that?

Trouble is, we now have too many people who aren't in their right mind.

Meanwhile, we can only sit back and watch the crazy keep coming.
