Rockefeller the owl survived a trip wrapped up in the Rockefeller Christmas tree until rescued. I got a kick out of the story that came out early this month about the tiny owl that was found in the Christmas tree put up in Rockefeller Center in New York. The tree is a long standing annual tradition. The fact that the owl had a rough adventure is so 2020. It proves that nothing is easy for anything. Including for that random owl from New York. The owl was apparently hiding out in the 75-foot Norway spruce when it was cut down in Oneonta, New York, then trucked to the Big City. Nobody noticed the little northern saw whet owl until workers were unwrapping the tree in Manhattan. Thankfully, the people on the Christmas tree team rescued the Luckily the owl was just hungry and thirsty, and suffered no injuries.
